Tulare County Probation’s Core

Divisions

The Tulare County Probation Department is composed of several distinct divisions, each playing a vital role in the overall success and effectiveness of the department.

AdMinistration division

The Administration Services Division provides a full spectrum of services to the operational division, as well as the implementation of policy and procedure.

Fiscal division

The Fiscal Division is responsible for the department budget, accounts payable, payroll, claims, reimbursements and required fiscal reports for grants and contracts.

Adult Court division

TCPD provides Court and Supervision services for adult offenders designed to protect the community, enhance the quality of life, and serve the Court.

The Probation Department provides diverse supervision opportunities for offenders upon post-sentencing.

JUVENILE COURTS AND OUT OF CUSTODY

TCPD serves as the core of the Juvenile Justice System. Youth who are alleged to have committed crimes are referred to probation through incarceration or out of custody.

JUVENILE IN CUSTODY

Youth who are alleged to come within the jurisdiction of the Juvenile Court or have been deemed wards of the court and are in need of in-custody programs.
